Mysore Palace (Amba Vilas Palace)
Mysore Palace (also known as Mysuru Palace or Amba Vilas Palace) is a remarkable example of Indo-Saracenic architecture, it is one of the most popular Mysore tourist places. Chamundeshwari Temple
The Sri Chamundeshwari Temple is located on Chamundi hills, about 13 km from Mysuru city at 3,489 feet above sea level. It is a well-known sight in Mysore that receives a lot of visitors. The temple’s cultural and historical significance is well-known. Chamundi Hills is a well-liked pilgrimage and tourism attraction that provides picturesque views of the surrounding area. Sri Chamundeshwari Development Authority has declared it as no plastic zone. Visitors are requested not to carry any plastic bags and do not throw the wastes in the hill area.

St Philomena’s Church
St. Philomena’s Church, also called St. Joseph’s Cathedral is one of the tallest cathedrals in Asia built in the Gothic style and was designed after the Cologne Cathedral in Germany. With the help of the Mysore Maharaja, the first church was built in 1843 for British Catholic employees. The current church was finished in 1941 after the foundation was laid in 1933. The church was dedicated to St Philomena, whose relic was brought from Rome in 1927.

Railway Museum Mysore
The Rail Museum at Mysore, established in 1979, features vintage locomotives. It is just the second such museum in India after the National Railway Museum in Delhi. The rail museum is situated very close to Mysore railway station back gate. Major attractions at the museum are ES 506 4-6-2 locomotive, Austin Railway Car (1925 model), YP #2511 steam locomotive, Class E #37244 4-4-4T locomotive, Maharani’s Saloon Carriage (1899), Toy train ride, and much more.

Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary
It is a renowned bird sanctuary in Karnataka located on the outskirts of Mysore (Mysuru) city. The sanctuary comprises small islands providing nesting and breeding grounds for diverse species.
