Itinerary: Cochin Munnar Thekkady Alleppey Package
Guests will be picked up by our representative on arrival at the Airport or Railway Station. DAY 1: Travel Cochin to Munnar
Travel from Cochin Airport to Munnar. The distance between Cochin International Airport and Munnar is 108 km, which can be covered in 3 hrs. Cochin Airport to Munnar route is Perumbavoor – Kothamangalam – Neriamangalam – Valara – Adimali – Munnar. You can visit Valara Waterfalls on the way from Kochi to Munnar. You will enjoy driving in this route as this is one of the best scenic routes in Kerala. On arrival at Munnar, check in to your Resort. You can cover a half day sightseeing of Munnar based on the time of arrival. Night stay at Munnar.
DAY 2: Munnar Sightseeing
Our cab will take you to the major tourist places in Munnar. Munnar is one of the most instagramable destinations and do not forget to bring your best camera or fully charged phone when you go out for Munnar sightseeing. If you are traveling to Munnar during Nov – Feb period, it is advised to carry light woolen clothing. Evening back to resort and Night stay at Munnar.
DAY 3: Munnar to Thekkady Travel
After breakfast, travel from Munnar to Thekkady (Kumily). You will be able to visit some of the amazing places enroute to Thekkady. Munnar to Thekkady distance is 97.3 km in Munnar – Kumily highway. Munnar to Thekkady route is Munnar – Devikulam – Udumbachola – Thekkady. Alternate route is Anachal – Keerithodu – Mailadumpara – Nedumkandam (Munnar to Thekkady distance in this route is 91 km, however it takes more time). If you start from Munnar in the morning, you can do the boating in the evening. It is suggested to book the Periyar Boat Safari in advance. Evening, you may proceed to visit some cultural activities if you would like. Night Stay at Thekkady.
DAY 4: Thekkady to Alleppey Travel
After breakfast, travel from Thekkady to Alleppey Houseboat. The distance between Thekkady and Alleppey is 140 km and it takes almost 4 hrs drive. Reaching Alleppey, check in to your exclusive Houseboat. Your Houseboat Package starts with a sumptuous traditional lunch followed by a cruise on the famous Kerala backwaters. You will definitely enjoy the quiet unwinding experience while enjoying the natural beauty of Kerala. Evening, the Houseboat will be anchored and overnight stay in the houseboat.
